Attending the reception was Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoai, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of related department and agencies.

At the reception, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee expressed his delight to the Lao delegation's working visit to Quang Binh. He also informed of achievements that Quang Binh province obtained in socio-economic development and introduced about the province's potential and advantages in tourism development.

Standing Deputy President hoped that in the coming time, the National Assembly of two nations would continue promoting the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general, Quang Binh and Lao provinces in particular, especially paying attention to the Lao Government-invested construction of an oil pipeline system from Hon La Seaport (Quang Binh, Vietnam) to Khammounae province (Laos) with an investment of USD200 million.

Lao National Assembly Deputy President thanked a warm reception of Quang Binh provincial leaders to his delegation and expressed his delight to great achievements that Quang Binh province obtained in the past time.

He also shared orientations for economic development of Laos in the coming time and promised that the Lao National Assembly would direct to boost the solidarity, friendship and cooperation with Vietnam in general and Quang Binh province in particular.
