Princess Lieu Hanh Temple Festival
(Quang Binh Website) - Princess Lieu Hanh is one of The Four Immortals of Vietnamese people and also a leading figure in the mother goddess cult Dao Mau, in which she governs the celestial realm.
The Princess Lieu Hanh temple festival is a form of unique cultural and religious activities of the nation in general and Quang Binh province in particular.
The festival is held each year in Vinh Son village, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district from 1st to 3rd days of the third lunar month.
The festival includes the rituals and cultural activities, expressing the worship to the holy mother.
Today, the Princess Lieu Hanh temple festival becomes a "live museum" of Quang Binh culture in particular and Vietnam culture in general.
Annually, the Princess Lieu Hanh temple attracts a great number of people from the whole country to worship and pray for good health, good luck, peace and happiness.
