''Cheo can, mua bong'' Festival
(Quang Binh Website) - "Cheo can, mua bong" festival ("Cheo can" performance, "bong" (flower) dance with the attendance of many local people) is a meaningful activity to express traditional culture with distinct features of Bao Ninh people in order to pray for calm sky and smooth sea, good weather and a bumper crop.
The festival includes the ritual for offering the God and folk activities, such as special dancing and singning performances, including "mai ba, mai nen" tunes, "cheo can" performamnce and "bong" dance to express the gratitude to the Gods and make an exciting emulation atmosphere in production activities.
"Cheo can, mua bong" festival is often celebrated on the nation's great festivals, especially this is an indispensable activity in Cau Ngu festival of Bao Ninh people.
