On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his pleasure to welcome the members of the delegation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain in Vietnam to visit and work in Quang Binh province; at the same time, he presented an overview of the province’s geographical location, natural conditions, socio-economic development situation and strengths, development potentials as well as priority areas for investment attraction of the province. He wished that Ms. Pilar Mendez Jiménez would be a bridge to introduce and connect potential Spanish companies and investors to Quang Binh province to learn and cooperate in investment in fields such as tourism, recycled energy; help Quang Binh province access ODA, FDI, and NGO capital in socio-economic development..., contributing to further tightening the friendship and cooperation relationship between the two countries Vietnam and Spain in general and Quang Binh province in particular. Especially, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hoped that the Ambassador would successfully organize activities on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Spain (May 23, 1977 - May 23, 2022), creating new momentum to boost the strategic partnership between the two countries with the purpose of serving the interests of the two peoples.

At the meeting, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain in Vietnam thanked the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the provincial departments and agencies for the warm welcome, especially for creating favorable conditions for the delegation to finish their tasks successfully. Ms. Pilar Méndez Jiménez said that Spanish businesses had strengths in renewable capacity, providing technology solutions for water treatment and urban development, and hotel management. She also introduced the contributions of large businesses to the socio-economic development of Spain and hoped that Spanish businesses would also make important contributions to the socio-economic development of Vietnam. The Ambassador also provided some information about 05 large enterprises looking to invest in Vietnam in general and Quang Binh in particular. On this occasion, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain in Vietnam hoped that the two sides would promote diplomatic relations and cooperation in business investment; simultaneously commit to being a bridge to strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two countries, seeking resources to support Quang Binh province to implement a number of social security, economic development programs in the coming time.
