I. Introduction about Industrial Park

- The North Dong Hoi Industrial Park was established according to the Decision No.438/QD-UBND dated March 4, 2010 of the provincial People’s Committee.

- Located in Thuan Duc commune, Dong Hoi city and Ly Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province, the industrial park borders National Road No.1A and Dong Hoi bypass on the east; 350m from Ly Trach communes, Bo Trach district on the south; Phan Dinh Phung street on the north and pine forest between two communes of Ly Trach (Bo Trach) and Thuan Duc (Dong Hoi city) on the west.

- Projected total area: 134,95 ha, including:

+ Land for building factories: 72.91 ha

+ Land for building administrative offices and services: 6.47 ha

+ Land for building treatment areas: 2.83 ha

+ Land for growing trees: 11.01 ha

+ Land for building road system and parking: 11.55 ha

- Investment in building infrastructures: the North Dong Hoi Industrial Park is invested to build some projects such as: site clearance and site leveling for hire; construction of road system; UXO clearance and disposal, etc.

II. Investment incentive:

1. Landing rent reduction or exemption

- Tax-exemption for land use for projects building apartment block for workers in industrial parks, processing parks, high-tech parks and economic zones.

- Tax-exemption for land and water surface for the duration of temporary cessation of construction and/or operation under certification of the agencies granting investment licenses.

- Tax-exemption for land use in eleven (11) years as from the date of putting project into operation.

2. Other incentives

- Quang Binh provincial People’s Committee invests in essential infrastructure establishments, such as electricity, water supply, water drainage, road system reaching as far as to the hedge of the Industrial Parks, Economic Zones.

- Support for site clearance, site leveling for projects outside Industrial Parks, Economic Zones.

- Support for the training of the local laborers recruited for the first time, as follows:

+ As for projects using from 100 laborers and over are supported VND500,000 a person

+ As for projects using high technology are supported VND1,000,000 a person.
