Visitors at the exhibition

The event features 92 posters on the legendary general provided by the Vietnam News Agency, the Vietnam Women Museum and photographer Tran Hong, as well as 110 poems by Nguyen Thi My Dung, who has written numerous articles and poems on General Giap with a deep respect over the past 20 years.

By combining photos and poems, the exhibition vividly re-creates milestones of the historic Dien Bien Phu Campaign and the ordinary life of the commander-in-chief of the Vietnamese military, as well as the people’s deep affection towards him.

The exhibition is expected to inspire young people to treasure the sacrifices of the previous generations and nurture patriotism and the revolutionary spirit to build the homeland to be more beautiful and wealthier.

Veteran Dau Van Lap, who served in the northern border and Cambodian battlefields, shared that he was moved when recalling the heroic years of the national resistance war.

On the occasion, a digital experience space was launched at the Nghe An Museum to provide visitors with an interactive and immersive experience when learning about the history and culture of Nghe An Province.
