Provinces greet first tourists of 2023
A similar welcome ceremony was held at Dong Hoi airport in Quang Binh province by the provincial Tourism Department and Provincial Tourism Association to greet Vietjet Air’s flight VJ262, carrying 180 passengers, including 35 foreigners.
The passengers departed from Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City and received fresh flower bouquets and souvenirs upon their arrival at Dong Hoi airport.
Leaders of the Quang Binh provincial Department of Tourism also extended their best wishes for the health of the passengers and expressed appreciation for the tourists who chose Quang Binh as their first destination in this new year.
In 2023, Quang Binh targets to serve 3 million-3.5 million visitors, including 100,000 foreigners, and gain 3.4 trillion to 3.9 trillion in tourism revenue.
